Connect Telegram

Connect your private Telegram chat to receive SpendDaddy recommendations, ask questions about your campaigns, and approve or dismiss individual recommendations.

Find the bot

Open the SpendDaddy bot in Telegram and select Start to begin a private chat. Use a private chat rather than adding the bot to a group or channel.

Connect your account

  1. Sign in to SpendDaddy, select your app, and open Settings → Notifications.
  2. Under Telegram agent, select Generate connection code.
  3. Select Copy, then paste and send the full /connect command in your private chat with the SpendDaddy bot. Send it within 10 minutes.
  4. The bot replies Connected. Use /help to see available commands.
  5. Send /status to confirm the connection. Refresh the SpendDaddy settings page to see Your Telegram account is connected.

Keep your connection code private. Each code works once; generating a new code invalidates the previous one.

Use the agent

Send /help to see the available commands:

CommandWhat it does
/statusConfirms your connection.
/recommendationsLists pending recommendations.
/approve IDExecutes an individual recommendation.
/deny IDDismisses an individual recommendation.

Replace ID with the recommendation number. Review a recommendation before approving it, since approval can change your Apple Ads campaigns. Grouped plans must be reviewed and approved in SpendDaddy.

You can also send a question in plain language, such as “Which keywords spent the most this week?”

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid or expired code: generate a new code in SpendDaddy, copy the full command, and send it within 10 minutes.
  • Account is not connected: send the /connect command first. Selecting Start alone does not connect your SpendDaddy account.
  • Settings still shows not connected: refresh the page after the bot confirms the connection.
  • Messages have stopped: make sure you have not blocked the bot in Telegram.

To disconnect, open Settings → Notifications and select Disconnect under Telegram agent.
