Activity and memory

Activity is a timeline of what SpendDaddy, you, Telegram, API agents, and the autopilot did, and why. Use it to check what changed in your Apple Ads account and what happened afterward. The Memory tab shows the same history for a single campaign or placement.

Read the Activity timeline​

Open Activity in the app navigation. Events are grouped by day, newest first. Each row has a plain-words title, such as Paused “futsal”, a badge for who did it, and a one-line reason.

Three filters narrow the list:

  • Show: All activity, Actions, Investigations, Daily reviews, Guards, Outcomes, Dismissals, Notes, or Autopilot. Actions switches to the table of Apple Ads changes: applied, failed, pending, and partial.
  • Who: Anyone, You, Telegram, API agent, SpendDaddy, or Autopilot.
  • App: shown when you have more than one app.

The Overview has a What SpendDaddy did panel with the most recent events.

Open the detail behind an event​

Some rows have a button:

  • How it decided opens the investigation trace: the steps, the analysis tools SpendDaddy used, and the plan it submitted. The investigator only reads data and proposes a plan. Nothing in a plan is applied until you approve it.
  • Held-back candidates opens a daily review. It lists what the review proposed and what it decided not to propose yet, with a reason for each, such as "Still observing the last change" or "The last raise backfired". The list keeps only the highest-ranked held-back candidates.
  • Open action opens the Apple Ads change itself, with its evidence and evaluation.

Outcomes in the timeline​

After you apply a change, SpendDaddy later records an outcome: Worked, No measurable effect, or Backfired. Outcomes that could not be judged are not listed. See How SpendDaddy learns for how outcomes are measured and used.

An outcome is an observation, not proof. SpendDaddy compares the period before and after a change and cannot rule out other causes such as seasonality or edits made outside SpendDaddy.

The Memory tab​

Open a campaign or a placement and select Memory. It shows:

  • Raise policy: whether raises are at the standard step size, paused, stopped, or adjusted, with the reason. See How SpendDaddy learns.
  • Past changes: each change with its hypothesis and what was observed afterward.
  • Dismissals: what you dismissed, your reason if you gave one, and when it can come back.
  • Held back: candidates SpendDaddy did not propose, with the reason.
  • Notes: open questions SpendDaddy saved for itself, with an expiry date.

A campaign or placement with no history shows Nothing recorded yet.
