Weekly update email

Organization owners get one email on Monday morning. It covers last week across all your apps, and links into the dashboard for anything that needs you. It is sent only if the SpendDaddy deployment has email sending set up. If the scheduler was down on Monday, the email goes out on Tuesday.

If an app has no data yet, for example while it is still importing, it is left out.

What is in it

The subject says how many things need you. Each app gets these sections, and a section with nothing to say is left out:

  • The week's numbers: spend, installs, trials, and paid conversions so far, with the change from the week before. Early ROAS is marked as early: most revenue arrives later, so it will rise.
  • Installs that finished their 30 days: spend, proceeds, and ROAS for installs whose 30 days are complete, compared with your ROAS target, plus recent weeks' trend.
  • Needs you: recommendations and other items waiting for your decision.
  • What SpendDaddy did: changes made, by you, Telegram, an API agent, the autopilot, or SpendDaddy. Also outcomes, changes a guard reverted, held-back candidates, and investigations. In Shadow mode it lists what the autopilot would have done and how often you made the same call.
  • Money: up to three outcomes, with the observed daily change in earnings after ad cost.
  • Biggest spend changes: keywords whose spend moved most, with installs before and after.
  • Focus this week: the thesis and items from the latest strategy plan. Nothing in it is applied until you approve it.
  • Watching next week: changes under guard, outcomes due, and open questions.

Apps with no spend or changes are listed in one line at the end. The email closes with a reminder that before-and-after observations do not prove a change caused the result, and a link to Activity.
