Autopilot

The autopilot applies the daily review's recommendations for you, but only the ones that fall inside your agent execution policy. It is off until you enable a policy, and it does not change anything until you turn on Live mode.

Modes

Set the mode under Settings → Agents, in Autopilot mode, next to the execution policy.

Mode	What it does
Off	Nothing.
Shadow	Records what it would change and changes nothing. This is the default when a policy is enabled.
Live	Makes the Apple Ads change on its own, arms a guard, and tells you on Telegram.

Shadow mode is how you check the autopilot's judgment before you trust it. Its picks appear in Activity under Autopilot.

What it can act on

The autopilot acts on pending recommendations from the daily review that raise or lower a keyword bid, pause a keyword, or raise or lower a campaign daily budget. It skips anything it cannot act on with certainty, such as grouped choices, AI strategy plans, and recommendations marked as observe-only.

Safety

The autopilot goes through the same checks as an API agent. Each one can stop a change:

• The campaign and action must be in your policy, within its bid, budget, and percentage limits.
• The policy's daily action limit must not be used up.
• The policy must not have expired.
• Your organization must allow Apple Ads changes. If that is switched off, the autopilot changes nothing.
• SpendDaddy reads the live Apple Ads state first. If it changed since the review, the change is skipped.
• Raises that past outcomes hold back are skipped: after a backfire until enough new spend, and after two raises with no effect.
• Recommendations whose evidence has expired are skipped.

Every autopilot change is recorded as an audited action, like any other Apple Ads change. A problem in the autopilot never blocks the daily review.

Turn on Live mode

1. Enable the execution policy and set its scope, limits, and expiry. Live mode needs an enabled, unexpired policy.
2. Run in Shadow mode first and check the Autopilot track record, described below.
3. Select Live. A dialog asks Turn on live autopilot?. Select Turn on live autopilot to confirm.
4. Select Save owner policy. Live mode is not active until you save.

SpendDaddy rejects a save that turns on Live without this confirmation. It never selects Live for you.

Undo a change

When the autopilot commits a change, it sends a Telegram message such as "Done: raised bid on “futsal” 1.01 → 1.21. Guard armed." with Undo and Details buttons.

• Undo reverts the change to the previous bid or budget.
• Details opens Activity.

Raises get a guard that watches the extra spend and early results. If a limit is crossed, you get the usual Revert or Keep message. Lowering a bid or budget and pausing a keyword do not get a guard, so those messages have no Undo button. Reverse them in the dashboard. If you have not connected Telegram, the change is still applied and shown in Activity, but nothing is sent.

To stop the autopilot, set the mode to Off or Shadow and save. To stop all Apple Ads changes, disable the policy.

Autopilot track record

Under Settings → Agents, the Autopilot track record covers the last 30 days:

• Picks: recommendations the autopilot selected.
• You agreed: the share of its picks where your own decision matched, with the counts you approved and dismissed.
• Autopilot did: changes it made in Live mode.
• Waiting or expired: picks still open, and picks that expired unanswered.
• Outcomes of agreed or executed picks, and why other picks were skipped.

Use it to decide whether to go Live. The outcomes are observed, not proven to be caused by the change.
